Dartmoor Hornet 27.5 review
The frame is great, Super strong, slack enough for what I want to do, and can accommodate plenty of travel. It is also at a great cost. The only negative about this frame is the paintjob, it does not look that good, I would have liked to get a blue one, but none were in stock. Another downside to the paintjob is that on my frame they got a fair amount of paint into the brake post mount bolt holes. this may have been intentional to serve as an anti-seize.

Great Hardcore Hardtail Frame
The aggressive geometry (slack HTA, long reach, etc.) is a lot of fun on this frame. I've been using this bike as my go-to since I finished assembling it. It's very responsive, even with 2.8" wide tires. The XL frame fits a 200mm dropper with it fully inserted, which is awesome. The frame feels quite rigid and longer rides can be fatiguing. The upside is that the frame feels super stout and I never worry about damaging it. The paint looks great. I have the black with silver/gold ferns. However, the chainstay had some paint missing after one ride without the clutch active on the derailleur. Some frame protection is on my to-do list. I was unsure which size to get. I am 6'1" and the XL fits me nicely with 810mm bars. All said and done, the frame is an awesome deal. Super fun geometry, attractive paint, and affordable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hard-charging hardtail. Side note: Shipping to the US from 26Bikes was incredibly fast. It took a few days to get to Colorado. Wow!

Great frame for the money
I wanted to build a play bike for some DH, PARK and Street that didn't cost a fortune. I paired this with some 160mm rockshox 35's and feels spot on. You can pay a fortune for frames by the likes of Nukeproof, etc but paying the extrad for the name. The hornet is well made, looks good with chunky build and modern geometry and you get a lot of frame for sub £300. I am 6ft 2 inches and opted for a medium as wanted something I can chuck around. I have a large 2020 primal 27.5 frame that I use for build an XC rig and find for me these sizings work for me

Great geomerty for fun and descend !
I'm very satisfied of this bike. I'M 190sm and XL frame fits me perfect. With RockShox Lyrik 160mm and Minion 27.5/2.6 on Cruiser 35mm bike feels very nice. One level slower than my previous XC , but no way :) Great !

awsome 27.5 jump bike
If you want a DH/Park bike that runs larger than 24/26" wheels then look no further. After building with rockshox 35's and SRAM groupset this is a weapon. I am 6ft 2inch and went for medium for a playful bike for bmx/jump track and a bit of trials riding, better geometry than the primal if you want an aggressive bike and build yourself with a great cost effective frame that delivers modern features/specs

Beautiful AM/FR/EN hardtail frame
Geometry is spot on for having fun on the descents. I'm 181cm tall and XL size fits me nicely with a 40mm stem. I built this frame with a 160mm Pike fork and 2.6 Minion DHFs tyres. Colour (matte black) is beautiful, albeit the ferns artwork is a bit darker than shown on Dartmoor website. Customer service from 26Bikes was excellent, they always replied to my emails within 1 day.
