Hope Tech 4 EVO X2 – lightweight brake with outstanding modulation

The Hope Tech 4 EVO X2 is the latest generation of a two-piston hydraulic brake, designed for XC, downcountry, and light trail riding. It delivers powerful braking while maintaining full control and exceptional modulation – perfect for riders who value precision and lever feel over sheer force.

The new EVO master cylinder offers:

• 30% higher mechanical leverage – more power and a shorter dead stroke,
• smoother action and improved modulation thanks to the new CAM mechanism,
• a more ergonomic lever shape, available in three options (Standard, Control, Power),
• reduced internal friction – lighter feel and quicker response, 
• full adjustability (reach and bite point),
• bleed port accessible without removing the cover.

The updated X2 caliper features:

• lightweight 2-piston design optimized for XC and trail,
• stiffer one-piece CNC-machined aluminium body,
• larger pad surface for consistent braking and better heat management,
• slimmer profile for improved frame and fork compatibility,
• new bleed port for easier and faster servicing.
