The Dartmoor Hornet Trail 2026 is a tough and versatile hardtail built for riders who want more than just casual riding around town. Designed around 27.5” wheels, it delivers a playful yet confident trail ride, perfect for flowing singletracks, first jumps and real mountain adventures.
The frame is made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, carrying the legendary Hornet DNA – strong, reliable and ready for hard riding – while offering a more agile, trail-focused character. The Military Green matte finish gives the bike a raw, no-nonsense look that fits its purpose perfectly.
Up front, the X-Fusion Mig 34 Air RC fork with 140 mm of travel and 34 mm stanchions provides excellent stiffness, sensitivity and control over rough terrain. It’s a solid choice for trail riding, pump tracks and light all-mountain use.
The Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain with an 11–46T cassette delivers smooth, dependable shifting and a wide gear range for both climbing and descending. The wheelset features Dartmoor Raptor rims paired with Kenda Nevegal tires, ensuring good grip and confidence across mixed trail conditions.
Braking is handled by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, offering reliable stopping power and modulation. The cockpit consists of a Viper 31.8 mm stem and a wide Tornado Hi 780 mm handlebar, providing stability and precise handling.
