The Dartmoor Blackbird Junior 2026 brings the best features of the full-size Blackbird series into a compact, junior-friendly platform built around 26” wheels. Designed for young riders between 140 and 160 cm tall, it delivers a true enduro riding experience in a lighter, more manageable form.

For 2026, the Blackbird Junior steps up with improved components while maintaining simplicity and durability. The suspension setup features a X-Fusion Slant RC air fork with 130 mm of travel, optimized for 26” wheels, paired with a X-Fusion O2 Pro R rear shock tuned specifically for lighter riders. This combination provides smooth, controlled performance on flow trails, technical sections and first real jumps.

The drivetrain is handled by a reliable Microshift Advent 9-speed system with a clutch rear derailleur and an 11–42T cassette, ensuring quiet operation and consistent shifting. A durable FSA Gamma Pro crankset and a wheelset built on Dartmoor Shield rims with Reel Boost hubs deliver strength and confidence on the trail.

Stopping power comes from SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes, offering solid modulation and safety for developing riders.
