Description

Dartmoor Jibbird 2026 is a bike designed for riders who want to mix trail riding with technical tricks, jumps and slopestyle-inspired features. It sits perfectly between the heavy-duty Thunderbird and the fully rigid Shine, offering suspension support with a playful, lightweight feel.

The 6061-T6 aluminum frame features progressive rear suspension with 140 mm of travel, providing enough support for larger jumps while remaining responsive and lively. 27.5” wheels combined with an ultra-short rear triangle make the bike easy to maneuver, quick to lift and predictable in the air.

For 2026, the frame received structural and geometry updates. A new straight top tube and a cleaner junction between the main tube and head tube improve stiffness and overall frame balance. Geometry changes include a 10 mm shorter reach and a 10 mm shorter chainstay, resulting in quicker handling and improved control during tricks.

Suspension duties are handled by a RockShox Psylo Gold fork with 150 mm travel and a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock. The singlespeed drivetrain with a dedicated chain tensioner keeps the setup simple and reliable. Magura MT Thirty four-piston brakes deliver consistent braking power and control.

The wheelset uses proven Dartmoor Shield rims, paired with fast-rolling WTB Ranger tires. A barspin-ready top cap completes the setup for technical riding and freestyle use.
