This rack is not designed to fit the mens Cafe racer.The rear brake caliper is in the way of the top fixing stays. I had to make some severe modifications to the upper fixing stays to make it fit. I therefore cannot recommend this product. The photograph you provided of the carrier was of one fitted to a ladies bicycle, with a completely different rear brake arrangement.
